What We Do

“Why are rescue transports so important? “

Overcrowding in pounds and shelters leads to euthanasia for space, and sadly there are too many deserving animals that do not get the time they need, to make it out alive before another animal comes in and their space is needed. Most of these facilities have limited to no social media networking and are not open to the public. CRCTRescue helps network animals at rural high-kill shelters who otherwise they would remain in their cages invisible and inevitably destroyed.

Once networking secures a rescue commitment, we schedule long haul transports to get them safely out of the pound/shelter to reputable rescues and homes all along the North East. We’ve driven through West Virginia, VA, NC, SC, MD, PA & OH. We’ve even coordinated transport legs in partnership with Paws N Pilots for flights as far as upstate NY & Canada! We’re also proud to partner and assist larger National Humane organizations for emergency transports for shelter systems in the South, helping to drive partial legs when natural disaster evacuation is necessary.

With the right exposure, we believe every animal deserves a chance at a loving long term home and that WV’s solution can be the road to rescue, not euthanasia.
